Pick-up & Drop Off

Pick up time starts at 11am and ends at 2pm. Please allot 1-1.5 hours during pick up to review the RV. Drop off time is before 11 am unless noted otherwise.

Deposit

A refundable security/damage deposit is required to reserve an RV and will need to be paid for via credit card.

Insurance

Insurance companies will often extend personal plans for RVs or Happy Campers is equipped to offer our insurance plan to you. Insurance is not included in the total price.

Pet-Friendly

Invite man's best-friend on your next trip! A $75 non-refundable, pet-deposit is required and we request that pet odors and/or stains are removed prior to returning your rental.

Smoking

Happy Campers is a family-friendly company and does not allow smoking of any kind in our rentals; smoking is strictly prohibited.

Cancellations

We require a 21-day cancellation notice for deposit reimbursement. If cancellation is past the 21-day period, the deposit will be forfeited.

There is no denying the cost benefits of renting an RV over a hotel, especially if your destination’s hotels are seeing high demand. The trade-off is a bit of planning needed prior to your departure. Our team of professional road-trippers will gladly help you with planning!

National or State Parks

The National Park System has 130 destinations with overnight camping. Getting a dry campsite (no hookups) in one of them is relatively easy. Privately-owned, full-hookup RV parks are easily found outside national/state parks. Trade your backpacks for an RV rental and relax in the A/C as your overheated friends exclaim "That's not real camping!"

Vineyards

Across America vintners are busy plucking perfect clusters of grapes ripe and ready to be made into wine. In general, traveling to wineries that cater to larger tour buses should be RV-friendly; call ahead to be sure. Harvest Hosts is a great program that allows self-contained RVs access to a myriad of vineyards and wineries, breweries, and other unique attractions.

The Oregon Coast

Few experiences can equal waking up with the sound of waves crashing on the coast, just a stone’s throw away. The Oregon Coast arguably boasts the country’s most incredible shorelines, and it is dotted with prime places to camp for RV travelers. Heading north to south, you will find amazing sights and plenty of activities for one of the best RV vacations ever.

Music Festivals

A definite perk of staying in an RV after a crazy day of dancing, singing, and enjoying the atmosphere is sleeping on a real mattress.Some of our favorite music festivals include 4Peaks, Oregon Jamboree, Bottle Rock, and Coachella. Please note, we do not permit our RVs attending Burning Man due to the fine dust.

Ski or Snowboard Trips

In addition to sleeping in your own bed and the luxury of being lax about packing, one of the prime reasons for traveling to a ski resort in an RV is saving money on lodging. While it may be prime time at the ski resort’s, it’s off-season at local campgrounds and for us too! Many ski areas will also allow overnight parking on their lot and the early bird gets the pow!
