- Toiletries - Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.
- Sleeping bags/bed linens - For a simple sleeping solution, toss in your favorite sleeping bags or make your RV rental feel a little more like home and bring along a set of bed linens for the perfect restful sleep after a long day of adventure.
- Blankets and pillows - Comfort is key to a successful camping trip, making your favorite blanket and pillow a necessity for your next RV road trip.
- Towels - You can never be too prepared with extra towels, so be sure to have enough for swimming, bathing, and a couple spares just in case.
- Sunscreen - If you’re planning on basking in the Oregon sun, bring along your favorite SPF to protect yourself from the harsh UV rays.
- Bug spray - Summertime is prime time for pesky insects so pack your favorite bug spray to avoid mosquitos and leave your camping trip bite-free. (Especially if camping near water.)
- Bug repelling candle - Pro tip!! In addition to our previous recommendation, check out our accessories department to purchase a candle designed to repel insects upon lighting by creating a natural barrier in the air.
- Hand sanitizer - You’ll thank us later.
- Weather appropriate clothing layers - Weather in the Pacific Northwest can vary drastically throughout the day. Plan for the variance in seasonal conditions and be prepared for chilly evenings.
- Water bottles - Additional bottled fresh water is an essential for hydration on the trails and in emergency situations.
- Food supplies and storage containers - Make a grocery trip before your departure and stock up on your favorite snacks and ingredients. Don’t forget additional food storage for leftovers!
- Trash bags - Not only is it a great idea to keep trash bags on hand for waste, they can also be used to transport wet swimsuits/towels or dirty clothes, making campsite cleanup a breeze.
- Paper towels/rags - Bring more than you think you’ll need.
- Fire starting tools - Lighter, matches, lighter fluid…graham crackers, chocolate, marshmallows! ;)
- Flashlight - Be sure to bring at least one flashlight for navigating campsites/trails past sundown. (Or for telling ghost stories like the infamous legend of La Llorona by the campfire.)
- Device chargers - Phone, iPad, laptop, camera, + anything you may need to keep your devices at full charge. (P.S. work-from-campsite is at an all time high, let nature be your office sometime!)
- Folding table/chairs - Setting up a place for gathering outside of your RV rental can be the perfect way to soak up the outdoor experience and enjoy the peaceful Pacific Northwest atmosphere. To enhance your patio setup, a folding table and chair set can be the perfect addition to your entertainment space.
- Ice chest - Cold beverages and camping go hand in hand. Throw in an ice chest of your favorite camping libations for the most refreshing addition to your packing list.
- Playing cards/games - Most importantly, have fun! A set of playing cards or your favorite board game can make for the perfect screen-free getaway for the whole family.
